up to the Hollywood Bowl (yep thats right,
thee Hollywood Bowl 2301 N. Highland Ave.
Hollywood) and check out The BL Armys own
dr.Oop as he rocks this prestigious venue
with 74 piece hip-hop orchestra Dakah for the
26th Annual Playboy Jazz Festival. Also
featured: Roy Ayers, George Benson and Dr.
John. The whole thing starts at 2:30. For

Start this memorial day weekend off on a
positive note by moseying on over to the UCLA
Labor Center (675 S. Parkview 1st floor,LA
90057 near McArthur Park) and checking out
FREEDOM UPRISING; an event to bring together
knowledgable and conscious artist to edu-tain
the youths of LA. There will be live
performances from start to finish (12-9pm).
The BL Army begins drills at 6:30 pm. This a
FREE/all-ages event!
After a long hiatus from home, the boys are
back! Head on down to the 'Westchester Bar

The Dr. just touched down from the long
journey through the great north west known as
the 'Irie Brothers Campaign Trail 2004' and
now he and the rest of the crew is resting
and recovering steadily. The tour was a
